CS:GO introduces dedicated Battle Royale community server

CS:GO Introduces Smaller Scale Battle Royale Mode

A new version of the popular Battle Royale game mode has finally arrived in CS:GO.

Kinsi, a web developer from Germany, has created a European community server called Go4TheKill that brings the Battle Royale experience to Counter-Strike. Inspired by H1Z1: King of the Kill, this server adds elements from popular BR games like H1Z1, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, and Fortnite into CS:GO.

With the Go4TheKill server, players no longer need to search for community servers that offer the br_electrified map – a custom map featuring a block arena reminiscent of Halo. This map removes the unique BR feel and turns it into a robotic version of the Hunger Games. Go4TheKill has its own atmosphere that creates a haunting experience similar to other BR games.

The map is set in a mountain range and is four times the size of Overpass. It features several towns spread across the quadrants, marked safe zones, inventory, sirens, and areas to find weapons and health packs. However, the number of players per server is limited to 15 to 20, which is significantly lower than other BR games that support 100 players.

To play on Go4TheKill, simply sign into your Steam account on their website and wait in the player queue until a game is found, similar to third-party servers like FACEIT and ESEA. You will receive a notification when a game is available, and upon downloading the map, you can join the BR server. It is also possible to play on the server from North America, as long as your ping is below 200 ms.

For more information about the server and regular updates, visit the Go4TheKill website and follow them on Twitter.
