Counter-Strike Team from Denial eSports Makes a Comeback

Denial eSports Returns with New Counter-Strike Team

Denial eSports, known for its success in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, is making a comeback after disbanding in 2015. The team aims to recreate its past achievements.

A Strong Start

Back in January 2015, Denial eSports had a powerful roster consisting of Todd “anger” Williams, Jacob “FugLy” Medina, Shahzeb “ShahZaM” Khan, Keith “NAF-FLY” Markovic, and Damian “daps” Steele. Despite their short-lived run, they achieved success by defeating teams like Cloud9, Netcode, and Team eLevate.

Roster Changes and Disbandment

However, after January, Denial eSports went through several roster changes, resulting in multiple switch-ups over the next three months. Their final squad, including Kyle “flowsicK” Mendez, Soham “valens” Chowdhury, Timothy “autimatic” Ta, Andrew “Professor_Chaos” Heintz, and Joshua “sanczz” Ballenger, played only one game together before disbanding in March 2015.

A Break and a New Beginning

Following their disbandment, Denial eSports took a break and focused on other areas. Now, in October, they have announced their return and reintroduced a new Counter-Strike team. The confirmation tweet was released on their Twitter account a few days ago.

The New Lineup

The current roster of Denial eSports consists of Josh “Shinobi” Abastado (Captain), Daniel “Vice” Kim, Hunter “SicK” Mims, Shawn “witmer” Taylor, and Max “MKP” Kap. All these players are relatively new to the professional/semi-professional scene and have not played in major leagues before this year.

Future Prospects

This new Denial eSports team has already shown promising strategies and performances in recent matches, including a tie against Team Coast. As the CS:GO community continues to grow, new opportunities arise for teams to challenge European giants. Denial eSports has made a smart comeback at the right time.
