Cloud9 to replace FNS following the ECS Season 5 Finals

Cloud9 to Make Roster Change in CS:GO Team

Cloud9 has announced that there will be another roster change in its CS:GO team, and it involves Pujan “FNS” Mehta. FNS will be transitioning to the C9 bench after the ECS Season Five Finals in June. This will be his last event as an active player, and Cloud9 is currently accepting offers and exploring opportunities with other players.

The North American organization mentioned that the decision to remove FNS from the roster was due to differences in player styles and in-game leading styles. The team will be reverting back to having Tarik Celik as the shot caller for the team, who was part of the Major-winning squad that won the recent ELEAGUE Boston Major in January.

Cloud9 stated, “FNS brought structure, discipline, and leadership to the team, but the differences in philosophies proved to be too great for us to achieve the results we know we are capable of. Both the team and FNS agreed that it would be better to find more suitable arrangements for their respective play-styles.”

It is rumored that French players Dan “apEX” Madesclaire or Nathan “NBK” Schmitt from G2 Esports may potentially join the Cloud9 roster after the conclusion of the ECS Finals on June 10.
