CEVO Forms Partnership with MLG.tv

Major League Gaming Announces Exclusive Broadcasting Partnership with CEVO

Major League Gaming (MLG) recently announced a partnership agreement with CEVO for exclusive broadcasting rights. This partnership will benefit both companies and the booming eSports industry. Season 7 of the CEVO Pro League, with a prize pool of $135,000, will have its LAN Finals at the MLG arena from July 24 to 26.

CEVO, previously partnered with Twitch TV, has made the decision to move to MLG.tv, one of the largest growing eSports broadcasting networks in the world. This move seems to be a wise choice for both companies.

With the growing viewership of CS:GO competitive matches and the expanding broadcasting network of MLG.tv, CEVO and MLG.tv have the right ingredients for success. Their collaboration during the recent XGames Aspen tournament demonstrated their compatibility and success in working together.

Adam Apicella, in a press release, expressed his excitement to be working with CEVO again. He praised their operation of CS:GO during the historic X Games Aspen broadcast. This partnership is off to a great start, which is promising for the future of CS:GO and its fans.

For loyal CEVO viewers, not much will change with the move to MLG.tv. The tournaments will still be streamed, just on a different platform. Users can create profiles and participate in the stream chat, just like on Twitch. It may take some time to adjust, but many people have already made the transition to MLG.tv.
