Breaking News: GODSENT to be Sold

The Future of GODSENT: Potential Sale Imminent

The future of GODSENT, a rising Swedish Counter-Strike team, is uncertain as the organization may soon be sold off. Sources suggest that the shareholders are prepared to put their shares up for sale to the public, including RFRSH Entertainment and founder Markus “pronax” Wallsten.

According to a report by French media site Flickshot, RFRSH Entertainment and Markus “pronax” Wallsten are among those looking to sell 100 percent of their shares in GODSENT. This move may result in the brand name being up for grabs.

One possible reason for the potential sale of GODSENT is WESA’s regulation against multi-team ownership to prevent conflicts of interest. RFRSH Entertainment represents three prominent European organizations in CS:GO – Astralis, Heroic, and GODSENT. It seems that RFRSH Entertainment may finally be complying with WESA’s sanctions, which were agreed upon last June.

Since its formation in April 2016, GODSENT has had mixed success in competitions. While the team successfully qualified for the WESG World Finals alongside other European powerhouses last November, it has become a stepping stone for players aiming to break into the international scene or a fallback option for those on the decline. This trend is noticeable among upcoming players like Fredrik “freddieb” Buö, as well as Major-winning stars such as pronax and Dennis Edman, who are currently on the bench.

If GODSENT is indeed sold, players like freddieb, Simon “twist” Eliasson, Joakim “disco doplan” Gidetun, Hampus Poser, and Ludvig “Brollan” Brolin would also be part of the deal. The team coach Niko “naSu” Kovanen, along with pronax and Dennis, would be included as well.
