Astralis Welcomes gla1ve to their Roster

Astralis make roster change, bench in-game leader karrigan

Astralis, the Danish esports organization, recently announced a roster change involving their in-game leader, Finn “karrigan” Andersen. Although Anton “notaN” Pedersen temporarily filled in for the team, Astralis has now decided to make Lukas “gla1ve” Rossander their permanent fifth member.

Statement from gla1ve

Gla1ve took to Facebook to express his excitement, stating that playing for Astralis has been his dream since the ESL One Cologne Major. He considers it an honor to join such a talented group of individuals and aims to help Astralis regain their former success. Gla1ve also thanked his previous organization, Heroic, for their support.

Preparation for upcoming tournaments

According to Astralis’ coach, zonic, the roster change was made in time for the team to prepare for their upcoming tournaments, including ELEAGUE and IEM Oakland. Zonic emphasized the tough competition, with notable teams such as Na`VI and SK Gaming in their group. The tournaments are set to begin on November 11.

Gla1ve’s performance and replacement

Gla1ve’s short period with Astralis proved successful as they made it to the last-eight of the Cologne Major, despite having two stand-ins on the team. Only time will tell if gla1ve can lead Astralis to the level of success that has thus far eluded them. In the meantime, Nikolaj “niko” Kristensen, formerly of Tricked esports, will replace gla1ve on the Heroic lineup.
