Astralis Dominates Fnatic, Secures Spot in ELEAGUE Major Grand Final

Semifinal of ELEAGUE Major: Astralis vs Fnatic

The first semifinal match of the ELEAGUE Major between Astralis and Fnatic started with a surprising veto process. Here’s how it went:

1. Fnatic removed Overpass

2. Astralis removed Cobblestone

3. Fnatic picked Cache

4. Astralis picked Nuke

5. Fnatic removed Train

6. Astralis removed Mirage

7. Dust2 was left over


Map 1: Cache

Fnatic started strong with a fast B rush, taking the pistol round without losing any players. Astralis responded with a force buy and picked up a few rounds. However, Fnatic clutched two one-on-two situations to secure four rounds. Astralis finished the first half with a 9-6 lead. In the second half, Astralis won the pistol round and gained a significant advantage. But Fnatic fought back and took the match to overtime. Astralis ultimately won in overtime with some close rounds.


Map 2: Nuke

Astralis dominated the first half on Nuke, winning every round and finishing with a 12-3 lead. Fnatic couldn’t find their footing and lost the match 16-5. With this win, Astralis advanced to their first ever Major grand final.


Astralis will face the winner of Virtus.Pro versus SK in the grand final of the ELEAGUE Major.
