The Asia Minor Qualifier Results: Renegades and TyLoo Secure Spots at ELEAGUE Major Offline Qualifier

Renegades and TyLoo emerged as the top teams at the Asia Minor qualifier, securing their spots at the ELEAGUE Major Offline Qualifier in January. The competition took place earlier today and featured teams from the Eastern Hemisphere.

Renegades claimed the No.1 seed, while TyLoo took the No.2 seed at the ELEAGUE Major: Boston Qualifier for their region. They impressed at the Asia Minor offline event and will now represent Asia at the qualifier in Atlanta, Georgia from January 12 to 15. They will be competing against 12 other teams for a chance to advance to the main event the following week.

Asia Minor qualifier dominated by Renegades and TyLoo

At the minor, Renegades dominated Group A, and TyLoo swept through Group B. These two teams were then placed into a four-team double-elimination bracket, where they faced Flash Gaming and MVP PK. Both Renegades and TyLoo cruised to the grand finals, with Renegades ultimately winning the minor with a 2-0 victory over TyLoo. The weekend of intense competition took place in Seoul, South Korea.

With their wins, Renegades and TyLoo now join Cloud9, FlipSid3 Tactics, G2 Esports, Natus Vincere, Mousesports, FaZe Clan, Vega Squadron, former PENTA Sports, AVANGAR, and Quantum Bellator in the stacked lineup of teams set to attend the major qualifier. AVANGAR and Quantum Bellator earned their spots by securing first and second place respectively at the CIS Minor, which coincided with the Asia Minor qualifier in Bucharest, Romania.

The remaining teams for the 16-team major qualifier will be determined at the upcoming European and American Minors, scheduled to take place from November 2 to 5.
