A Guide to Watching ESL One Belo Horizonte

ESL is hosting its first-ever ESL One Belo Horizonte event in Brazil this week. The tournament is set to feature some intense Counter-Strike matches and a $200,000 prize pool. The event will take place from June 13 to 17, with the playoffs happening on June 16 and 17 at the Mineirinho Arena.

The tournament will follow the standard GSL-style format, which includes best-of-one initial matches followed by best-of-three elimination, winners’, and decider matches. Eight teams will be divided into two groups of four, with only two teams advancing to the weekend playoffs. The group stage will conclude on June 15, determining the final two competitors from each group. The semifinals will take place on June 16 and the grand final on June 17, both played in best-of-three and best-of-five formats, respectively.

Here are the matchups for Group A:
– FaZe Clan vs. Ghost Gaming (June 13, 9am CT)
– Space Soldiers vs. SK Gaming (June 13, 9am CT)
– Elimination Match (June 13, 6:20pm CT)
– Winners’ Match (June 14, 12:30pm CT)

Some teams have made roster changes ahead of the tournament. Ghost Gaming also secured a spot in the event with the signing of the former Torqued trio.
