OG’s Second Generation Struggles with Consistency Issues
Since 2021, OG’s second generation has been facing consistency problems. To overcome travel restrictions, Sébastien “Ceb” Debs has been brought in multiple times, including his recent return to help the team in Dota 2. However, this time he assures it will be his “last ride” with OG’s squad.
Ceb’s Return Amidst Roster Shuffle
This time, Ceb’s return in DreamLeague Season 20 was not due to visa issues but rather to aid OG during a roster shuffle. During a post-match interview on June 11, Ceb was asked how long he intended to play with OG.
Final Run for Ceb
Ceb described his return as the “last ride,” stating that it would truly be his final one. Previous returns to OG were also referred to as his “last run,” but this time it seems to be more definite.
Challenges for Ceb in Managing Time Commitments
As Ceb also competes in division two of the Western European Dota Pro Circuit, helping OG has become more challenging due to his time commitments. With division two matches ongoing, Ceb will have minimal downtime if he plans to participate in both competitions.
Despite setbacks, Ceb has remained dedicated to making Old G work. However, OG has had a mediocre start in DreamLeague Season 20, drawing against beastcoast and losing to SumaiL’s Team Aster.
