Warzone Season 4 Early Patch Notes: Specialist Perk, Gulag Changes, New Weapons, and More

Season four of Modern Warfare 3 will feature a revamped collection of content for Warzone, featuring new weaponry and other entertaining enhancements.

The return of the Kar98k marksman rifle will be great news for many players who regret the gun’s glory days in the original Warzone, but that is only touching the surface of what is coming to the game as part of the seasonal patch.

Buckle up and prepare to experience all of Warzone’s new additions and changes in Season 4.

Let us take a look at how everything is changing in Warzone season four.

Weapon balance and bug fixes

A new season of CoD brings buffs and nerfs to numerous weapons. Check back here once the patch is out to see what is changed with the game’s weaponry and other features.

Kar98k returns to MW3 and Warzone

Activision describes the marksman weapon as “strong and accurate,” with “high damage output and a sluggish rate of fire.” But that is only one of four guns coming this season, along with the Superi 46 SMG, Reclaimer 18 shotgun, and Sledgehammer melee weapon.

Gulag changes

The Gulag will now randomly spawn you in one of four different variations, rather than just one at a time, so expect some diversity when returning to the action.

Urzikstan bunkers update

The bunkers on Urzikstan are being rebuilt. Once you find a keycard, you will be able to explore a wider interior as well as new secondary exit hatches, giving your crew many options for escape.

Benefits as a specialist

In season four, the Specialist perk makes its way from Rebirth Island to Urzikstan, where players can acquire it as rare ground loot and equip all of the game’s perks.

New and returning modes

Buy Back Royale Solos returns in season four, as do new modes, including one that appears to be previewing Black Ops 6 in some way due to its nature.

New car

Season four introduces a new vehicle for Urzikstan: the Polaris RZR Pro R, a real-world side-by-side UTV. It features sharper turning and handling, three seats, and “better fuel economy.”

Loot Hot Zones will appear on the map as you prepare to drop in. These zones will have higher tier treasure than usual and will most likely be crowded with players competing for it.

The Runaway Train public event, which will launch in midseason, is identical to season one’s Slay Ride Resurgence mode and will spawn at the sixth gas circle. The safe zone will remain above the train until the completion of each match.
