Season Three Zombies: Highly Anticipated Fixes
The upcoming season three of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is set to introduce exciting new content for the game’s popular Zombies mode. However, players will need to exercise a bit more patience while awaiting two highly anticipated fixes that they have been clamoring for.
Game-Changing Updates
Confirming the concerns of fans, Treyarch Studios announced on April 3 that it would be addressing two significant issues in MW3 Zombies during season three. These long-awaited changes include an expansion of the player stash and the implementation of exfil Schematic cooldowns. Excitement began to build as Treyarch recently showcased these updates to various creators in the MW3 Zombies and Call of Duty community.
One of the most consistent complaints among MW3 Zombies players has been the limited stash size, causing significant consternation since the mode’s inception. However, the upcoming season three finally answers their pleas as the stash size will be doubled. This adjustment aims to resolve the dissatisfaction players have expressed regarding both the Acquisitions stash size and the Contraband weapon size. Of the two, the Acquisitions stash has particularly irked the community, forcing players to abandon items they find during matches due to insufficient storage.
Adding to the excitement, Treyarch will also be introducing the exfil Schematic cooldown mechanic to enhance the Zombies gameplay experience. Although not yet active, players can already catch a glimpse of this feature in the end-of-match report. The mechanic will function similarly to the Insured Weapon time reduction with successful exfils. Successful exfils will allow players to produce Acquisitions with Schematics at an accelerated pace. This innovation will facilitate the retrieval of rare classified items, empowering players to tackle more challenging obstacles such as the Dark Aether Rifts.
The stash size expansions and the introduction of the exfil Schematic cooldown mechanic are expected to launch alongside the other exciting new season three Zombies content. As with previous seasons, this content will not be available immediately upon the start of season three. Players have responded positively to these forthcoming changes, eagerly anticipating their implementation.
