First player achieves Lord of White Spire on Dota Underlords leaderboard

Dota Underlords Player Snofe Becomes First Lord of White Spire

Dota Underlords, the popular strategy game developed by Valve, has crowned its first Lord of White Spire. An accomplished player known as snofe has achieved the highest rank in the game’s ranked ladder, making history in the process. This rank, introduced in the recent July 4 update, places snofe at the top of the White Spire leaderboards.

Reaching The Highest Rank

snofe’s achievement is remarkable because players who reach the Lord of White Spire rank cannot be demoted. They maintain their rank on the Underlords leaderboard based on their matchmaking rating (MMR), regardless of any losses they may incur. This guarantees their place amongst the elite players in the game.

Other Players Close Behind

According to a Valve developer, around 50 to 100 players are currently on the cusp of reaching this prestigious rank. To join the White Spire leaderboards, players must consistently aim for a top-four finish in matches. This competitive system ensures that only the best players make it to the top.

snofe’s Reign Continues

While snofe remains the undisputed number one player worldwide, 28 other players have already ascended to the Lord of White Spire rank. However, in terms of skill and performance, snofe continues to reign supreme.

Leaderboards and Future Rewards

Currently, achieving the Lord of White Spire rank does not grant any additional benefits or rewards. The leaderboards serve as a means for players to track who is dominating Underlords at any given time. Furthermore, teams may use these leaderboards as a tool to recruit top talent for tournaments.

The Future of Rankings

Although the game will introduce a seasonal Battle Pass, it remains uncertain whether player rankings will also follow a seasonal format and reset periodically. For now, snofe can proudly claim the title of being the first Lord of White Spire in the history of Dota Underlords.
