Doinb expresses disbelief over the continued availability of a game-breaking LoL champion despite bug

League of Legends World Champion Doinb Experiences Game-Breaking Azir Bug

On May 7, former League of Legends world champion Kim “Doinb” Tae-sangen encountered a serious bug while playing Azir, resulting in him being kicked out of Summoner’s Rift.

Doinb’s chat warned him about the bug just moments before it happened. Initially skeptical, the Korean player soon changed his mind.

During a stream, Doinb’s chat informed him that using the WEQ combo with Azir would cause the game to crash. Doinb didn’t believe it at first, but he decided to test it out himself.

“Using WEQ with Azir will get the game to crash.” – Chat

“It will let your game go boom? How is that possible? I don’t believe it, Chat.” – Doinb

Then he played Azir, using WEQ, and the game crashed.

“And the game just…disappeared?” – Doinb

Playing with a group of friends in the flex queue, Doinb picked Azir and everything was going smoothly until the 24-minute mark. Curious about the bug, he decided to perform the W-E-Q combo as suggested by his chat.

As soon as he executed the combo, Doinb’s screen froze and the game crashed for everyone, including his teammates.

Caught off guard, Doinb quit the game and was surprised to find that it didn’t appear in his match history. “And the game… just disappeared like that?” he questioned in disbelief.

One of Doinb’s teammates mentioned that the bug could be exploited by players, especially in losing situations. By continuously using the W-E-Q combo with Azir, players can prevent their losses from being recorded in their match history.

It is still unclear how frequently the bug occurs, but it seems to be triggered by Azir’s combo. Currently, the champion is still enabled on live servers.
