A Fan Creates a Functional Replica of Jinx’s Machine Gun from Netflix’s Arcane
A Reddit user recently showcased their impressive replica of Jinx’s signature machine gun, Pow-Pow, as seen in the popular animated series Arcane on Netflix.
The replica, made entirely out of cardboard, weighs only seven pounds despite its size and realistic appearance. The user spent over 90 hours creating this replica and painted it with acrylics to perfectly match Pow-Pow’s look in Arcane.
The creator included a knob on the back of the machine gun that allows the three barrels to spin, just like they do when fired in the show. However, the rotation is manual and at a slower speed. The replica also features a handle for stability and a shoulder strap for easy transportation.
This fan creation is just one example of the many incredible replicas and fan art that have emerged from the Arcane fandom. Jinx’s clothing and weapons, in particular, have garnered attention, with fans recreating her ‘Chomper’ grenade and other items from her extensive arsenal.
Arcane quickly became a hit on Netflix, reaching the top of the “Most Watched” category in numerous countries. Despite the wait for season two, fans continue to enjoy the series and appreciate the efforts made by fellow fans to bring its characters and props to life.
