JD Gaming recruits ADC Hope

Wang “Hope” Jie Revealed as JD Gaming’s Starting ADC for 2022 LPL Spring Split

Last night, JD Gaming announced that Wang “Hope” Jie will be their starting ADC for the upcoming 2022 LPL Spring Split. Hope will be filling the vacancy left by Lee “LokeN” Dong-wook, who departed the team earlier in the offseason.

A New Start for Hope at JD Gaming

Hope, a 21-year-old player, has spent the majority of his career with EDward Gaming. He has been a part of the organization for nearly four years, primarily playing for their developmental team known as EDG Youth Team. Although he has moved in and out of the main lineup, Hope has shown his skills and potential during his time with EDG.

In a recent tweet, JD Gaming welcomed Hope to their team and expressed excitement about his addition as the ADC. They are looking forward to seeing Hope’s performance and achievements as a key member of their team during the upcoming Spring Split.

JD Gaming’s Rebuilding Phase for 2022

JD Gaming is aiming to rebuild and bounce back after a disappointing previous season. While they achieved success in the 2020 LPL Spring Split Playoffs and had a decent run at Worlds 2020, their performance declined in the following year. They struggled in the playoffs during the 2021 Spring Split and missed the playoffs entirely in the Summer Split.

As part of their rebuilding process, JDG has made significant changes to their roster for 2022. In addition to Hope, Lou “Missing” Yun-Feng will join as the team’s support in the bottom lane. Bai “369” Jia-Hao, a former top laner for Top Esports, has also recently joined the organization. With a focus on their solid middle lane and jungle duo, JDG is determined to come back stronger in 2022.
