Major Updates Coming to Alpha Pals, Boss Encounters, and Looting in Palworld’s Debut Xbox-synced Patch

Pocketpair released a major upgrade for Palworld

Pocketpair published the huge Palworld v0.2.4.0 update on May 13, which included significant changes to Alpha Pals, bosses, and looting mechanics. Moreover, it appears to be the first patch that is nearly identical to the Xbox version.

New update includes adjustments to the Xbox version of Palworld

Today’s v0.2.4.0 update launched at 11pm CT, and was then added to the Xbox version of the creature-catching game an hour later. It’s a massive change, especially since previously Xbox players had to wait days before updates hit their Palworld versions.

Improved Alpha Pals and boss modifications

This time, the wait would be even more agonizing, as the most recent update includes a few quality-of-life improvements to the game. Alpha Pals’ health has been raised, improving their fight survivability. Major modifications were also made to bosses, with the developers reducing their damage reduction rate by 18%.

Improved looting system and item mechanics

Another change that the Palworld community has already embraced is the ability for objects and Pals dropped on death to be picked up by anyone for up to 24 hours. It is a significant mechanic adjustment, as users frequently complained about being unable to retrieve their items from public servers.

New breeding options for Alpha Pals

Last but not least, as of the v.0.2.4.0 update, your Breeding Eggs can now create more Alpha Pals, giving you the opportunity to obtain more of them. Previously, they could only be hatched from wild eggs or as a reward.

This list of changes for Palworld has already stirred interest in the community. Players are especially grateful for the Xbox update’s speed—even if it appears to have debuted with a few problems, according to early replies. Nonetheless, they are relieved that the game appears to be in sync again. Furthermore, the most recent update included a number of quality-of-life enhancements, some of which the community has long requested.

Players are now awaiting Palworld‘s huge summer update, which should be launching in the coming months. However, no precise date has been set just yet.
