This highly anticipated event will showcase the best Counter-Strike teams from around the world, battling it out for the title of Champions. All You Need to Know About ESL Pro League Season 19
The 19th Season of the ESL Pro League brings together 32 of the most skilled Counter-Strike teams, all vying for a total prize pool of $750,000. But that’s not all! The winner will also secure the prestigious Intel® Grand Slam V and earn a spot at IEM Cologne 2024. The tournament kicks off on April 23, with contenders gathering in Malta to fight for a place in the Playoffs. The top six teams will then battle it out live at the InterContinental Malta from May 10 to 12, providing an exhilarating experience for the audience.
This season, there are some exciting improvements to the EPL schedule. While the number of teams and tournament structure remains the same, the duration of the tournament has been reduced to three weeks instead of five. To accommodate this change, two groups will compete simultaneously during the Group Stage, creating a more electrifying narrative for fans to follow.
Schedule and Format
The action-packed tournament will unfold in two stages: Group Stage and Playoffs.
Group Stage (April 23 – May 5):
- Four groups of eight teams will compete in separate triple-elimination brackets.
- All matches will be best-of-three.
- The top four teams from each group will advance to the Playoffs.
- Group Stage winners advance to the Quarterfinals.
- The Group Stage runner-ups advance to the Round of 12.
- The Group Stage third and fourth-place teams advance to the Round of 16.
Playoffs (May 7 – 12):
- The top sixteen teams will compete in a single-elimination bracket.
- All matches, except the Grand Final, will be best-of-three. The Grand Final will be best-of-five.
- The third and fourth Quarterfinals, as well as both Semifinals and the Grand Final, will be played in front of a live audience.
