Misfits Gaming has announced its 2022 LEC roster, which is the youngest lineup in the European league with an average age of 20.6 years.
The team has re-signed top laner HiRit to a two-year extension. He had a great performance last year, with high stats in the Summer Split and the most damage dealt by a top laner in regular season play.
The team has also added rookie jungler Shlatan and support Mersa to the roster. Shlatan played for Misfits’ Academy team and has been promoted to the LEC team, while Mersa previously played for GamersOrigin and ŠAIM SE SuppUp.
Vetheo and Neon, familiar names in the LEC, will also be part of the team. Vetheo is a strong mid laner with impressive stats from the Summer Split, while Neon has the opportunity to show his potential on a young roster after a challenging season with Schalke 04.
Misfits may start the season slowly as they adjust to their new roster, but their young talent brings promise for the playoffs if they can find their team identity early on.
