Only one team stands in C9’s way at the LCS Championship finals while the other challenger falls short

Cloud9’s Bot Lane Duo Picks 100 Thieves as Their Potential Finals Opponent in the 2022 LCS Championship

The 2022 LCS Championship finals are approaching, and Cloud9’s bot lane duo, Zven and Berserker, have already chosen their expected final series opponent. In a video on C9’s YouTube channel, they discussed their recent series against 100 Thieves and shared their predictions.

According to Berserker, 100 Thieves has great potential to make it to the final. He pointed out their good performance in practice and their recent results in the LCS. On the other hand, Zven criticized Evil Geniuses’ series against TSM, calling it “really noob.” As a result, he sees 100 Thieves as a stronger team.

Despite the video being recorded before EG’s BO5 against Liquid, Zven still agreed with Berserker. He confirmed that they will be facing 100 Thieves in a rematch on Sunday.

In addition, Zven expressed his excitement to play in front of fans at the United Center in Chicago. As he won his previous two LCS trophies without fans due to the pandemic, he aims to win his third with the support and excitement of the crowd.

The 2022 LCS Championship continues this Saturday with 100 Thieves going up against Evil Geniuses in the lower bracket final. The winner of that match will then face Cloud9 on Sunday for the North American title.
