Exciting News for Pokémon Fans!
At the end of the 2023 Pokémon World Championships, a big announcement stole the show. All Starter Pokémon are making a comeback in the Scarlet and Violet games. They will be part of “The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero” DLC’s second part.
Starters From Every Region Return
So, what does this mean? It means you will be able to catch Starter Pokémon from every region in Scarlet and Violet. This will happen with the release of “The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero: The Indigo Disk” this winter. They will be found in different places within the Blueberry Academy’s underwater eco-dome. How you will bump into them is still a mystery.
Incineroar and other starters that were missing in Gen IX are coming back. They will change the game in competitive play. Whether you play to win or just for fun, this news is exciting. The second part of the DLC will let you team up with these familiar faces again.
Who’s Coming Back?
Here is a quick list of the Starter Pokémon you can’t play with in Scarlet and Violet just yet:

Charizard and Starters from Legends: Arceus, Gen VI, and Gen VIII are already in the games. They came through special events and Pokémon HOME transfers.
DLC Release Dates
The first part of the DLC, “The Teal Mask,” is coming out on September 13. The second part, “The Indigo Mask,” will follow. The exact release date is still unknown.
