Pokémon Go Players Express Concern Over ‘Terrible’ Egg Content and Ignored Bonuses

Pokémon Go Players Upset Over Egg Issues

Pokémon Go players are getting more upset because Niantic keeps ignoring their complaints about Eggs. They talked about how tough it was to get a Shiny Riolu from hatching eggs during a special event. They also didn’t like the general Shiny hatch rates and the annoying need to hatch lots of 10km Eggs they didn’t want.

During the Riolu Hatch Day event, players hatched 443 special 2km Eggs. They got 434 Riolu, and 43 were Shiny. This is about a one in 10 chance, according to research posted on The Silph Road subreddit by the Silph Research Group on July 30. However, some players had bad luck. One player hatched 51 2km Eggs without getting a single Shiny, while another got six Shinies from just 14 2km Eggs.

Boosted Rates Disappoint Players

Another discussion pointed out the disappointment with boosted hatch rates. A player shared they hatched 35 7km Event Eggs without getting a Shiny Tyrunt or Shiny Amaura, despite supposed better odds. This experience has made them not want to try again. Others felt similar disappointment, not getting Shinies even after hatching 83 and 104 eggs, respectively.

Egg Frustrations Grow

The community also expressed frustration over another issue. Some players are tired of hatching “terrible” Pokémon from 10km Eggs. They feel it’s a chore to hatch these to make room for other eggs. One player said they hatched 20 eggs in two days without anything exciting. They’re tired of getting Pokémon like Emolga, Mawile, Mareanie, Fomantis, and Shuckle. Eggs are no longer something they look forward to.

Players Demand Changes

This isn’t the first time players have raised these issues. They criticized the Riolu Hatch Day event as ‘scammy’ and said all Hatch Day events are not friendly for casual players. The amount of effort needed to get a single egg is huge. Players are asking for changes, but it seems Niantic is not listening.

Pokémon Go players continue to voice their concerns, hoping for improvements. They want the game to be fun and fair for everyone, casual and hardcore gamers alike. The community waits to see if Niantic will address these ongoing egg hatching problems.
