How to Catch Hisuian Sneasel in Pokémon Go

Hisuian Sneasel first showed up in Pokémon Go during the Hisuian Discoveries event in summer 2022. Since then, catching it has been really tough for players.

This special version of Sneasel, from Pokémon Legends: Arceus, is a Poison/Fighting-type. It has white fur and purple marks. You can evolve it into Sneasler. Sneasler can climb steep cliffs and carry others too.

However, to evolve a Sneasler in Pokémon Go, you need 100 Sneasel Candies. You also have to catch a Hisuian Sneasel. But it’s only around at certain times.

How to Catch Hisuian Sneasel?

You can now find Hisuian Sneasel in the game, thanks to the Solstice Horizons event. It appears in the daytime but is very rare. After June 25, 2023, you can’t find it easily. It will only show up in certain Raids and sometimes in seven-kilometer Eggs.

To get seven-kilometer Eggs, don’t spin PokéStops if you have room for Eggs. Instead, open gifts from friends till you have enough seven-kilometer Eggs. Remember, PokéStops won’t give these Eggs.

There’s a chance that Hisuian Sneasel might be the main Pokémon in a future Community Day. That means its Shiny form would be up for grabs. But there’s no word from Niantic on this happening soon.

Hisuian Sneasel has quickly become a fan favorite. Catching it is tricky but worth the effort for its unique look and powerful evolution. Keep an eye out for special events to grab this rare Pokémon.
