How to Obtain Sobble, Drizzile, and Inteleon in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

Sobble, Drizzile, and Inteleon, the Water-type Starters from Gen VIII, first showed up in Pokémon Sword and Shield. These Pokémon come from the Galar region and are a bit harder to find than most Pokémon. At first, you couldn’t get any past Starter Pokémon in Scarlet and Violet. But now, they’re being added slowly, and there’s a special way to get them.

How to Catch Sobble, Drizzile, and Inteleon

Right now, there’s only one method to catch an Inteleon in Scarlet and Violet. The game creators have set up a unique Tera Raid event just for the “Unrivaled Inteleon.” This event won’t last forever, so keep an eye out for its schedule. Beat the seven-star Tera Raid, and you’ll get a chance to catch an Inteleon in Paldea, making it yours.

The Breeding Method

Once you catch that special Inteleon, you can breed it with Ditto. This will give you Sobble eggs, which will hatch into Sobble and then evolve into Drizzile at level 16. This way, you can get as many Sobbles, Drizzlies, and Inteleons as you want.

Missed the Raid?

What if you miss the Tera Raid event? Don’t worry, you have other choices. You can trade with a friend who has an extra Sobble. Or, if you have Pokémon Home and a Gen VIII game, you can transfer Sobble and its evolutions to Paldea. But, this last option isn’t ready yet. Pokémon Home needs to support Scarlet and Violet first. So, we must wait a bit longer for this feature.

Wrap Up

In summary, catching Sobble, Drizzile, and Inteleon in Scarlet and Violet is exciting but takes some effort. Keep an eye out for the Inteleon Tera Raid event, or consider trading or transferring to get these rare Pokémon. With a bit of patience and effort, these unique Water-type Starters can be yours.
