One user on the League of Legends subreddit has put forth an interesting idea for a new skin collection for the champion Aphelios. They suggested a “Reverse Ultimate” skin where Aphelios and his sister Alune would switch roles. In this concept, Alune would become the silent killer on the Rift while Aphelios guides her from a distant temple.
Accompanying the proposal, the user also shared fan art depicting how Alune might look as the deadly assassin and her brother as the guiding spirit.
Unlikely But Creative Idea for Refreshing the Champion
In the lore of Aphelios, he became mute after drinking poison and relies on his sister Alune to communicate with him. While the idea of a Reverse Ultimate skin is highly creative and refreshing, it is unlikely that the developers will pursue it.
Currently, Aphelios has received four skins in addition to his original one since his release in 2019.
