Comprehensive Guide to All Pokémon Go Lure Modules

Catch More with Lure Modules in Pokémon Go

Pokémon Go is full of Pokémon waiting for players to catch. With close to 800 Pokémon out there, catching them all is a big task. One key tool for this chase? Lure Modules. These items, when used at PokéStops, attract Pokémon. This makes it easier to find and catch them. Some Lure Modules can even help evolve certain Pokémon. So, having them is a big plus for your adventure.

Events Make Lure Modules Even Better

Lure Modules shine during special events like Community Days. Normally, they last 30 minutes. But on event days, they last up to three hours. These items aren’t easy to get, though. Players can buy them with PokéCoins from the shop. You can earn these coins by defending Gyms or buying them with real money. Sometimes, completing research missions can also give you Lure Modules.

As of April 2023, Pokémon Go offers five kinds of Lure Modules. Each has its special purpose. A unique Lure Module needs a connection to a main Pokémon game.

Exploring Different Lure Modules

Each Lure Module attracts different types of Pokémon. The Standard Lure Module boosts the rate of Pokémon appearances at a PokéStop. It doesn’t specify which Pokémon will appear. The Glacial Lure Module attracts Water and Ice-types. It helps evolve Eevee into Glaceon with 50 Eevee Candies. The Magnetic Lure Module increases the appearance rate of Electric, Rock, and Steel-type Pokémon. It also enables the evolution of Magneton into Manezone, Nosepass into Probopass, and Charjabug into Vikavolt, given enough candies.

The Mossy Lure Module boosts the spawn rates of Bug, Grass, and Poison-type Pokémon. Nearby Eevee can evolve into Leafeon. The Rainy Lure Module increases Water, Bug, and Electric-type Pokémon rates. It’s the only way to evolve Sliggoo into Goodra.

Golden Lure Module: A Special Addition

A Golden Lure Module makes its debut through a tie-in with Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Players can get this by sending five Postcards to these games. This item turns a PokéStop golden but you can only have one at a time. Pokémon with boosted rates in the current season will pop up around Golden PokéStops. Players might also find Gimmighoul and collect its coins.

Using Lure Modules strategically can help you catch and evolve many Pokémon. So, dive in, pick your modules wisely, and fill up your Pokédex!
