Presenting the Complete Schedule for MSI 2023

The 2023 Mid-Season Invitational (MSI) is the first international League of Legends event of the year. It will take place in London, United Kingdom, at Copper Box Arena from May 2 to May 21. Riot has released the schedule for MSI 2023, following a format change at the start of the season. The tournament will now feature 13 squads instead of the previous 11, thanks to the addition of double-elimination brackets.

MSI 2023 will consist of two stages: the play-in stage and the bracket stage. Five teams (Gen.G Esports, T1, MAD Lions, JD Gaming, and Cloud9) have already secured their spots in the bracket. The remaining eight teams will compete for the remaining three spots.

The play-in stage will take place from May 2 to May 7, and there will be League of Legends action every day. All matches in this stage will be best-of-three. As the tournament progresses, teams will find out who they will face since it is a double-elimination format.

The schedule for the play-in stage is as follows:

– Tuesday, May 2: PSG Talon vs DetonatioN FocusMe at 7am CT, G2 Esports vs LOUD at 10am CT
– Wednesday, May 3: BiliBili Gaming vs Movistar R7 at 7am CT, Golden Guardians vs GAM Esports at 10am CT
– Thursday, May 4: TBD vs TBD at 7am CT, TBD vs TBD at 10am CT
– Friday, May 5: TBD vs TBD at 7am CT, TBD vs TBD at 10am CT
– Saturday, May 6: TBD vs TBD at 6am CT, TBD vs TBD at 9am CT
– Sunday, May 7: Last Chance Qualifier – TBD vs TBD at 6am CT

Once the top eight teams are determined, there will be another draw to decide the pairings for the bracket stage. All matches in this stage will be best-of-five. The bracket stage will begin on May 9 and continue until May 21, when the two finalists will compete for the MSI championship. There will be a one-day break on May 15.
