Is crossplay available in Pokémon TCG Live?

Does Pokémon TCG Live Have Crossplay?

Pokémon fans are eagerly awaiting the launch of Pokémon TCG Live, the new online platform for playing the Pokémon Trading Card Game. One question on many players’ minds is whether Pokémon TCG Live will support crossplay across different devices.

Crossplay refers to the ability to play a game with others on different platforms, such as playing on a computer while your friend plays on a mobile device. Many games have embraced crossplay as a way to bring players together regardless of the device they prefer.

Unfortunately, it appears that at least for now, Pokémon TCG Live will not have crossplay functionality. Players will only be able to compete against opponents who are using the same platform as them. This means that if you are playing on a computer, you can only face other players on computers, and if you are playing on a mobile device, you can only play against other mobile users.

This limitation may come as a disappointment to some players who were hoping to challenge their friends regardless of the platform they prefer. However, it’s important to note that the Pokémon Company has not completely ruled out the possibility of adding crossplay in the future. They have acknowledged the request from fans and are actively considering it as a potential feature to be implemented down the line.

In the meantime, players can still enjoy the exciting new features and improvements that Pokémon TCG Live offers. The updated user interface, improved deck management, and enhanced gameplay experience make it a promising platform for all Pokémon TCG enthusiasts.
