Niantic Confirms Fletchling for Pokémon GO’s March Community Day
Niantic, the developer behind Pokémon GO, has officially announced that Fletchling will be the featured Pokémon for the game’s March Community Day. This event will allow players to encounter an increased number of Fletchling in the wild and have a chance to catch its shiny variant.
During the Community Day event, Fletchling will have an exclusive move that it cannot typically learn through evolution or TM usage. If players evolve Fletchling into its final form, Talonflame, up to two hours after the event ends, Talonflame will also learn the exclusive move.
Additionally, throughout the event, players can take advantage of a three-hour Incense duration and earn triple the amount of Stardust for capturing Pokémon. Using Incense will also increase the likelihood of attracting Fletchling during the event.
There will be a special research story available for purchase during the event called “The Bravest Bird.” By completing this research, players can earn rewards such as Poke Balls, Berries, and even an Elite Charged TM.
To further enhance the Community Day experience, a special one-time-purchase Community Day box will be available for 1,280 PokéCoins, featuring 50 Ultra Balls, five Lucky Eggs, a Poffin, and an Elite Fast TM.
The March Community Day featuring Fletchling will take place on March 6 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. local time. The event will be available globally, and trainers from all around the world can participate by going outside and exploring their surroundings while following local health and safety guidelines.
