Gigantamax Pikachu, Eevee, and Meowth Event Revealed for Pokémon Sword and Shield
Pokémon Sword and Shield players can now celebrate as Gigantamax Pikachu, Eevee, and Meowth will be available in a special limited-time event. From Feb. 7 to March 8, trainers will have the chance to catch these powerful and exclusive Pokémon.
During this period, players can obtain a unique Pikachu capable of Gigantamaxing, allowing it to take on a gigantic form during battles. Its G-Max Move, called G-Max Volt Crash, deals damage to opponents while also paralyzing any enemy Pokémon that aren’t Electric type.
In addition to Gigantamax Pikachu, trainers will also be able to encounter Gigantamax Eevee. This Eevee can also grow to a massive size and has its own special G-Max Move called G-Max Cuddle. This move not only deals damage but also infatuates opponents of the opposite gender.
Lastly, Gigantamax Meowth can also be caught during this event. Similar to Pikachu and Eevee, Meowth can grow in size when Gigantamaxing. Its G-Max Move, G-Max Gold Rush, not only deals massive damage but also confuses opponents and rewards trainers with in-game money every time it hits.
To obtain these Gigantamax Pokémon, players will need to connect their Nintendo Switch consoles to the internet and participate in Max Raid Battles. These battles will be available in the Wild Area, where trainers can team up with others to take on and catch the powerful Gigantamax Pokémon.
