Treyarch Releases Update to Address RICOCHET Anti-cheat Rumors, Ranked Play Restrictions, and Weapon Balance

Today, the developers of Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone have released a new update in response to rumors about the RICOCHET Anti-cheat system being offline. The update also includes revised restrictions for Ranked Play Resurgence and weapon balancing adjustments.

Treyarch Takes Action to Address Resurgence Ranked Play Exploit

On February 14th, Treyarch announced their plan to address the “taps” issue in Resurgence Ranked Play. This issue involved players in Call of Duty having their teammates finish off downed enemies to earn Skill Rating for assists. This strategy faced criticism as it unfairly rewarded players with SR.
