2017 Capcom Pro Tour Details Announced for Street Fighter
Capcom has officially announced the details for the 2017 Capcom Pro Tour, the premier tournament series for Street Fighter V.
Tournaments and Format
This year’s Pro Tour will consist of 22 premier events, which are the highest level tournaments, and over 20 ranking events. The total prize pool for the tour is over $600,000.
Prize Distribution
The prize money will be distributed among the top 16 players at each premier event, with a substantial increase for first and second place. Additionally, the overall winner at the grand finals will receive a significant bonus.
Grand Finals
The grand finals of the tour will take place in November, featuring the top 32 players. The venue for the event has yet to be announced.
Pro Tour Passes
Players have the opportunity to purchase a Pro Tour Pass, which grants them automatic entry into the premier events. The passes, available in two editions, will also provide exclusive in-game content.
