Rekkles turns down his All-Stars spot and passes it to Broxah

Fnatic’s Rekkles Passes on All-Star Event, Broxah to Attend Instead

Martin “Rekkles” Larsson, one of the most iconic players in the EU LCS, has decided not to attend the All-Star event in Las Vegas despite winning the fan vote. He offered his spot to his teammate Mads “Broxah” Brock-Pedersen, who gladly accepted. Broxah will now be representing the EU LCS alongside Rasmus “Caps” Winther, Fnatic’s mid laner who also won the fan vote.

Rekkles’ Decision

Rekkles’ decision to not attend the All-Star event didn’t come as a surprise. On October 17, he urged fans to vote for his teammates instead of him, hinting that he might not want to go. And now, by declining the invitation, it’s clear that he prefers to let his teammate have the opportunity.

Fnatic’s Success and World Championship Hopes

It’s not surprising that both Rekkles and Caps won the fan vote, considering Fnatic’s dominance in Europe. They are currently the region’s first seed and the best team at the World Championship in South Korea. Last weekend, they defeated the LPL’s EDG in a best-of-five series and are on their way to the semifinals. If they manage to beat the NA LCS’ Cloud9 this weekend, they will make their first appearance in the Worlds finals since season one.

Fnatic’s semifinals match at Worlds starts this Sunday at 3am CT.
