OG Parts Ways With iLTW Following Series of Disappointing Performances

OG Makes Roster Change: Releases iLTW

The defending champions of The International, OG, have made a change to their roster. They have announced through their Facebook page that they are releasing Igor “iLTW” Filatov.

OG expressed their gratitude towards iLTW for his contributions to the team since joining in January. However, they stated that the team was not achieving the desired results, which led to his release.

Disappointment After TI8 Win

After winning the $11.2 million grand prize at The International in August 2018, OG’s recent performances have fallen short. They have failed to reach the finals of any event and even struggled in qualifier events.

Most recently, OG placed in the top six at the StarLadder ImbaTV Dota 2 Minor. They won only one out of three matches in Group A. Despite the disappointment, iLTW and his former teammates maintained professionalism during the roster change.

iLTW’s Farewell Message

iLTW expressed his gratitude to OG for the opportunity to be a part of the team. He thanked his teammates and showed appreciation for the support he received. iLTW also wished them the best in the future.

OG has not announced iLTW’s replacement yet, but they mentioned that an announcement will be made soon. Speculation among fans suggests that OG might bring back Anathan “Ana” Pham, a former member of their roster. Ana announced a break from competing in November 2018 and was moved to the substitute position on the team.
