Tfue and Other Pro Gamers Share Opinions on Cheating Claims Involving Dubs fn in World Cup Qualifiers

Fortnite Player Dubs fn Accused of Cheating in World Cup Qualifiers

A serious allegation of cheating has emerged within the competitive community of Fortnite: Battle Royale. Dubs fn, a player in the Open Qualifiers of the Fortnite World Cup, has been accused of using cheats by a cheat provider. This accusation comes after Dubs placed second in North America East, earning a spot in the finals in New York City.

Epic Games Investigating Cheating Accusations

Epic Games, the developer of Fortnite, is currently investigating multiple cheating cases, including the one involving Dubs. Aspect Dolphin, a Twitter user, first made the allegations, prompting the company to take action. While the allegations have not yet been verified, they have raised concerns among professional Fortnite players about Dubs’ case and the effectiveness of the game’s anti-cheat system.

Professional Players React

The cheating allegations have caused a stir among professional players. Turner “Tfue” Tenney and Dennis “Cloak” Lepore from FaZe Clan even joked about the situation during a livestream. However, other players, such as EnVy’s LeNain and Team Liquid’s Jake “POACH” Brumleve, have taken a more serious stance. LeNain hopes to benefit from Dubs’ potential disqualification, while POACH urges Epic Games to thoroughly investigate cheating allegations.

Epic Games Yet to Provide Updates

As of now, Epic Games has not provided an update on the Dubs fn case or any of the other players accused of cheating in the World Cup Qualifiers. Dolphin, who brought forward the allegations, has reported these players to Epic Games, emphasizing that they are suspects and not confirmed cheaters. It is worth noting that cheating in Fortnite results in disqualification from the tournament and a ban on the player’s account.
