French Counter-Strike Legend Ex6tenz Moves to LDLC
Kevin “Ex6tenz” Droolans, a renowned player in the Counter-Strike community from France, has officially left G2 Esports and completed his transfer to LDLC.
Shuffle in Roster
Ex6tenz was removed from the starting lineup of G2 Esports last month after Alexandre “Bodyy” Pianaro joined the team. This change was made following a disappointing performance at MLG Columbus, where G2 Esports failed to progress beyond the group stage. They even suffered a 16-1 defeat in their opening game against Virtus Pro.
Rumors Reinforced
There were rumors circulating that Ex6tenz would form a new French lineup with LDLC, and with his transfer now confirmed, it seems those rumors were true. The next question is which players from the former White and Blue lineups will join him in this new venture.
Positive Outlook
G2 Esports coach Jerome “Niak” Sudries expressed his satisfaction with Ex6tenz moving on to a new project that makes sense. An official statement from Ex6tenz on Facebook reiterated that the split was amicable and emphasized the importance of the relationships built during his time with G2 Esports.
The French veteran is well-known for being a strict in-game leader, with a clear vision for how the game should be played. While his fragging ability seemed to decline after the transition to Global Offensive, he has shown signs of improvement in recent times.
