Fortnite’s Season 8 includes a new challenge featuring Buried Treasure
In the middle of season eight of Fortnite: Battle Royale, Epic Games is introducing a exciting new challenge that will make players feel like true pirates.
Buried Treasure, a Legendary item recently added to Fortnite, is the centerpiece of this challenge. Epic Games wants players to search the map for the item not once, but twice. Once you locate it, you must activate it and follow the indicated route on the map to a specific location marked by a big X.
Find the treasure and reap the rewards
A red-dotted line will guide you to the location of the treasure. Upon reaching the goal, use your pickaxe to dig up a treasure chest full of epic loot. Enjoy the spoils!
Complete the quest and move on
Repeat this process two times to complete the challenge and move on to the next one.
