Maikelele reveals intention to create a CS:GO team and reclaim AWP role

Mikail “Maikelele” Bill Returns to Competitive CS:GO

Mikail “Maikelele” Bill, who left FaZe Clan three and a half months ago, is making a comeback in competitive Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.

After playing with FaZe for 11 months, Maikelele left the team on April 10. While the decision wasn’t entirely his own, he resigned from FaZe due to his desire to return to a dedicated AWP position. Since then, he has been streaming on Twitch. But today, he announced that he is in the process of creating his own team.

Building His Own Team

Although Maikelele hasn’t disclosed the players he will team up with, he revealed that he received several offers from international teams during his absence from the pro scene. However, he chose to create his own team because he feels passionate about it.

Fulfilling His Passion

Maikelele plans to assemble a fully-Swedish lineup for his team, and he will be returning as an active AWPer. This is quite different from FaZe, which has one of the most ethnically diverse rosters.

Achievements and Past Experience

Maikelele is globally recognized after being recruited by Ninjas in Pyjamas (NiP) in late 2014. With NiP, he reached the grand finals of both the 2014 DreamHack Winter Major and MLG X-Games Aspen, losing to French rivals EnVyUs in both finals.

After spending only three months with NiP, Maikelele was released from the organization on March 18 last year due to communication issues. He then competed with the current FaZe roster for the remainder of 2015 and the first quarter of 2016, except for a brief stint with LGB eSports.
