SHOOWTiME, a Former Immortals Rifler, Joins INTZ

Gustavo “SHOOWTiME” Gonçalves Signs with Brazilian Esports Organization INTZ

Just two days after parting ways with Immortals, Gustavo “SHOOWTiME” Gonçalves has already joined Brazilian esports organization INTZ.

SHOOWTiME achieved a great victory with Immortals when they defeated Ninjas in Pyjamas at the DreamHack Summer grand finals on Jun. 21. However, the 19-year-old player was released from Immortals on Jul. 22 to make room for former SK Gaming coach Wilton “zews” Prado, who is transitioning to a player role on the team.

INTZ, a well-known esports brand in Brazil, has recently made changes to their Counter-Strike: Global Offensive lineup. They added João “horvy” Horvath and Denner “khtEx” Barchfield just days before signing SHOOWTiME. The organization has built its roster around Counter-Strike 1.6 legend Raphael “cogu” Camargo with mixed results.

The new INTZ squad, with SHOOWTiME as the most experienced player in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, will have its first LAN debut at the ESL Brasil Premier League finals on Jul. 31. INTZ director Lucas Almeida expressed his excitement about having SHOOWTiME on the team, stating, “The opportunity to have a player of his quality really pleases us as he can bring a lot to the team,” in a statement to maisesports.com.br.
