Massive Ice King Blankets the Map in Snow, Revives Zombies in Fortnite’s Ice Storm Extravaganza

The Ice Storm Event in Fortnite: Battle Royale

Today, the focus of the Ice Storm event in Fortnite: Battle Royale was the giant ice sphere above Polar Peak.

At 1pm CT, the sphere started pulsing and unleashed a wave of snow that covered the entire map. In the southwest area of the island, a massive figure appeared and summoned a snow storm that blanketed the entire map.

As a result, the map is now covered in snow, fog, and ice, which has made visibility difficult in certain parts of the island. Following the initial storm, lightning strikes caused zombies to emerge from giant ice blocks.

Recently, the ice sphere appeared above Polar Peak, accompanied by countdowns on television sets throughout the Fortnite island and a clock near the sphere. Most players anticipated an event to follow.

Epic Games has previously organized in-game events such as rocket launches and cube explosions. These events occur every few months, but their impact on the Fortnite world remains a mystery until they happen.
