TheMongolz Player Zilkenberg Steps Down from Team
The Mongolian esports association, TheMongolz, announced on their Facebook page that Temuulen “Zilkenberg” Battulga has stepped down from the team.
No reason has been given for his departure, which is particularly surprising considering the team recently claimed first place at ASUS ROG Masters Asia 2016 by defeating dream[S]cape 3-0 in Kuala Lumpur.

“Zilkenberg is leaving The MongolZ. Good luck and thanks to him for the great time. We will be announcing our replacement sometime in the near future,” the statement reads.
While no official replacement has been announced yet, Enkhtaivan “Machinegun” Lkhagva is a strong contender after being released from Splyce earlier this week.
The current roster of TheMongolz consists of four members:
- Batbayar “kabal” Bat-Enkh
- Gan-Erdene “dobu” Batbold
- Bold “ncl” Batsuh
- Tsog “Tsogoo” Mashbat
