Competing Teams Unveiled for IGL 2016

The IGL Finals: A Sneak Peek into the Ultimate Esports Event

The highly-anticipated International Gaming League (IGL) Finals, presented by Nice TV and Tencent Sports, is scheduled to take place from Nov. 20-27. This thrilling event offers over $100,000 in prize money and features seven talented teams from around the world, including three Chinese, three from the Americas, and one European team.

Originally planned to include eight teams, the tournament saw TyLoo back out without a replacement. However, if Heroic doesn’t make it to the IEM Oakland playoffs, they have agreed to compete in the IGL Finals.

The finals will kick off with a double-elimination group stage, featuring best-of-one matches in the upper bracket and best-of-three series in the lower brackets. The top two teams from each group will advance to the best-of-three semifinals, leading up to an electrifying best-of-five final.

The confirmed teams participating in the IGL Finals are as follows:
