Group C (Week 3) Preview and Predictions for ELeague

ELeague Group C Preview: Who Will Win?

Week 3 of ELeague is about to begin with Group C taking the stage. The question on everyone’s mind is, who will come out on top? I’m Maestro and I’m here to break it down for you.

Teams in Group C

Let’s start by looking at the teams participating in Group C:

  • Astralis
  • Counter Logic Gaming
  • SK Gaming
  • NRG eSports

Astralis: The Clear Favorites

In my opinion, Astralis is the clear favorite to win this group. They have been performing exceptionally well against teams like Flipsid3 in recent ESL games. Astralis is on a winning streak, winning all 3 of their last games. Their roster is also filled with top-tier talent. For example, dev1ce has been shutting down opponents with his AWP ability, and kjaerbye’s addition to the team has further improved their performance. Astralis should easily come out on top in this group.

Counter Logic Gaming: The Underdogs

However, there is one team that could potentially beat Astralis, and that is Counter Logic Gaming. They have the talent to give Astralis a tough time, but their recent form has been shaky. They have lost 4 out of their last 5 games, including a loss against Team Solomid. Despite this, star player tarik can make a big impact for CLG. I believe they will come in second in the group, but I still don’t think they will beat Astralis.

NRG eSports: The Dark Horse

Coming in third place, I predict NRG eSports. They have won 2 out of their last 5 games and rank #8 in the Best American Team on Gosugamers. Although they may not outperform CLG or Astralis, they should have a comfortable win over SK Gaming. Player ptr has been performing well and can hold his own against top players. NRG eSports has the potential to surprise us in this tournament.

SK Gaming: The Underwhelming Team

Finally, SK Gaming is expected to come in fourth place. They have lost all 5 of their previous games, including matches against lower-tier teams. Their recent poor form suggests that they won’t make a mark in this tournament. While Magiskb0Y has shown promise, it won’t be enough to lift SK Gaming to a higher position in the group.

So those are my predictions and preview for Week 3 of ELeague Season One. Let’s see if I’m right or not. Only time will tell.
