Where to locate the hidden Battle Star during Fortnite season 7, week 5

Fortnite: Secret Battle Star Guide for Season 7 Week 5 Challenges

In season seven of Fortnite, players can earn a new secret Battle Star by completing five full sets of weekly Battle Pass challenges. The secret Battle Star became available with the release of the week five challenges on Jan. 3. To claim the Battle Star and earn a full Battle Pass tier, players can interact with it during a match in any standard or Limited Time Mode (except Playground).

Unlocking the Secret Battle Star

By completing five weeks of challenges, players unlock a loading screen that provides a hint about the location of the secret Battle Star. The loading screen for this week shows Trog serving tea to his two buddies inside an ice cave with a lodge in the background. Players should look for a Battle Star floating on the roof of that lodge, just above the lamp. That’s where they’ll find the latest secret star.

Locating the Secret Battle Star

The only ice cave with a lodge on the Fortnite: Battle Royale island is located in the far southwest corner of the map, on the B9 square southeast of Frosty Flights and west of Happy Hamlet. Players will easily spot a hole on the ground surrounded by trees. Gliding over the area will help them locate it. Going down the hole will lead them directly to the secret Battle Star on the roof of the lodge, hovering over an old mattress. Interacting with the star will grant them a free Battle Pass tier once they leave the match.

Important Note for Finding the Secret Battle Star

It is crucial to fully complete a certain number of challenge sets in season seven to unlock the secret Battle Stars and Banners. Players who only complete the week five challenges without finishing the ones from weeks one to four won’t be able to see the Battle Star. If you’re currently in a week where more weekly challenges are available, you can find the secret Battle Star by completing any five weeks of challenges. Additionally, players who don’t own the premium Battle Pass won’t be able to see the secret Battle Stars since they can’t complete all seven challenges of each week.
