Epic Games Introduces Gifting Feature in Fortnite
Epic Games has finally launched its highly-anticipated gifting feature in Fortnite. This new system allows players to give each other cosmetics as gifts.
How Does It Work?
Gifting items to friends is a simple process. All players need to do is go to the Item Shop, choose an available item, and select the option to purchase it as a gift. They can then choose which friend to send it to along with a personalized message.
Things to Note
In order to gift items, players need to have multi-factor authentication enabled and be friends with the recipient for at least 48 hours. Additionally, there is a limit of three gifts per day.
Disable the Feature If Not Interested
If you’re not interested in gifting items to others, you can easily disable this feature in your account settings.
The trial version of the gifting feature will be available for one week before being temporarily removed. However, it is expected to return in the near future, especially with the holiday season approaching.
