Fortnite: Battle Royale’s 6.02 update introduces new additions – Quad Launcher, Disco Domination, and Port-a-Fortress

The Latest Update in Fortnite: Battle Royale

The recent 6.02 update in Fortnite: Battle Royale may not have introduced anything groundbreaking, but it is still an important update to keep an eye on.

Epic Games has added the Quad Launcher with this update, which is another explosive weapon in the game. However, fans have not been particularly supportive of the abundance of explosives, so the Quad Launcher might face some skepticism.

In addition to the new weapon, the developers have also delivered on their promise of a new limited time mode called Disco Domination. This dance-based mode was previously teased, and players can finally try it out.

Furthermore, the Port-a-Fortress has made a return to the game. It was initially added at the start of season six, but was quickly removed by the developers on Sept. 28. This time, players might hope for a longer trial period.

Apart from these additions, not much has changed in the game. The developers made some tweaks to various loot drop rates, but no item saw a significant shift that would greatly affect the players.

Overall, the 6.02 update didn’t hold many surprises. However, it did introduce a potentially game-changing weapon with the Quad Launcher. As explosives have been criticized for being overpowered, it may become even more challenging for players to out-build their opponents. Instead of engaging in a build battle, players now have the option to quickly turn the fight around by using the Quad Launcher.

It will be interesting to see how the community reacts to the Quad Launcher and the new limited time mode in the coming week.
