Tempo Storm Crowned CEVO Gfinity Season 9 Finals Champion
Tempo Storm emerged as the champion of the CEVO Gfinity Season 9 Finals after four days of intense Counter-Strike: Global Offensive action at the Gfinity studios in London.
Group Play
In the group stage, Tempo Storm faced off against SK Gaming and Team Dignitas.
Tempo Storm defeated SK Gaming with a 2-0 victory, winning 16-12 on Train and 16-6 on Cobblestone.
In their match against Team Dignitas, Tempo Storm secured a close 2-1 win. They won 16-12 on Mirage, lost 12-16 on Cobblestone, and came out on top with a 16-14 victory on Cache.
With a 2-0 record, Tempo Storm emerged as the winner of Group B.
Semi-Final
In the semi-finals, Tempo Storm faced off against Virtus Pro.
Tempo Storm secured a 3-2 victory over Virtus Pro. They won 16-9 on Dust 2 and 16-7 on Train. However, they lost 4-16 on Inferno and 13-16 on Cache. In the deciding match on Mirage, Tempo Storm came out on top with a 16-11 victory.
Grand Finals
In the grand finals, Tempo Storm faced SK Gaming.
Tempo Storm dominated the first two maps, winning 16-5 on Cache and narrowly winning 19-17 on Dust 2. SK Gaming fought back with a 16-9 victory on Mirage, but Tempo Storm sealed their championship title with a 16-8 win on Cobblestone.
