Fortnite Season 6: Floating Island Breaks Away from Loot Lake
Fortnite fans have been witnessing a floating island above the Loot Lake area since the beginning of season six. However, the island is now on the move, drifting away from its initial location. Similar to the unpredictable behavior of the giant purple cube in the past, it’s unclear where the island is headed. While it appears to be moving west towards the buildings on the edge of Loot Lake, there is no definitive reason for its movement.
The Mystery of the Floating Island
In accordance with the changes caused by the cube in the previous season, the waters of Loot Lake turned into a bouncy surface. As a result, the area around the lake detached from the ground and created the floating island we see today.
Update 6.0 Brings Major Changes
The recent 6.0 update not only introduced the floating island, but also brought new features like Shadow Stones and Pets. Additionally, several items have been vaulted. It seems that Fortnite players can expect more significant changes in the upcoming 6.1 update, depending on the movements and decisions of the floating island.
