Summer Skirmish: Fortnite Tournament with $8 Million Prize Pool

Summer Skirmish is an official Fortnite: Battle Royale tournament that spans over an eight-week period. It features an impressive $8 million prize pool and attracts some of the most talented and popular players in the world.

Today marks the kickoff of the fourth week in the Summer Skirmish series, with a $500,000 Solo event. These tournaments are organized by Epic Games, the developer of the game. In an effort to engage the young esports community, Epic invited community creators and highly-ranked players to compete in today’s event.

Numerous top players from North America are participating in this event, including Twitch star Tyler “Ninja” Blevins, who is playing and streaming from the Lollapalooza music festival.
