Epic Games Announces $3 Million Fortnite Celebrity Pro-Am Tournament

Epic Games, the developer of Fortnite: Battle Royale, has revealed its plans to host a Celebrity Pro-Am tournament at E3 2018. The tournament will feature fifty professionals and celebrities teaming up to compete for $3 million in charity prize money. The winning duo will have the opportunity to donate $1 million to the charity of their choice.

Notable Participants

The Fortnite Celebrity Pro-Am tournament will showcase some of the biggest personalities in the Fortnite community. This includes well-known streamers and YouTubers such as Tyler “Ninja” Blevins, TSM’s Ali “Myth” Kabbani, “Pokimane,” Mark “Markiplier” Fischbach, and Corentin “Gotaga” Houssein. These players will be paired with celebrities such as music producer Marshmello, actor and comedian Joel McHale, NBA all-star Paul George, rapper Desiigner, and mixed martial artist Demetrious Johnson.

Tickets and Exclusive Party

Tickets to watch the Fortnite Celebrity Pro-Am tournament are priced at $10 and can only be purchased through an email link sent to players in the Los Angeles area. Only 3,000 tickets will be sold for the event. Additionally, Epic Games will host an invite-only Party Royale after the tournament. Attendees of E3 can visit the official Fortnite booth at the LA Convention Center for a chance to obtain a ticket to the party (for individuals 18 years old and above).

Excitement is building among Fortnite fans as the Celebrity Pro-Am tournament promises to deliver thrilling plays and Victory Royales. The event will take place in just a few weeks at E3 2018.
